1,107,037. Nailing or screwing blocks for concrete structures; attaching to shuttering. EXPANDITE Ltd. 12 Nov., 1965 [3 Dec., 1964], No. 49215/64. Headings E1S and E1W. A nailing, screwing &c block 1 for setting in concrete has on one face one or more undercut recesses 12 within each of which the head 10 of a stud 6 of resilient plastics material engages with a snap fit so that the shank 7 of the stud projects from the block. In use, the projecting shanks 7 are engaged within holes 15 in the shuttering 16 and when the shuttering is struck the studs stay in the holes 15 and the heads 10 are pulled from the recesses 12. The block 1 may be made of high density polythene.
