Tanks.-Two sides A, Fig. 5, of a tank or like vessel are each formed with four channels B<3> to receive flanges C on the ends of the remaining sides D<4> packing M being provided; two of the members D' are provided with side channels to receive flanges on the sides of the remaining members D<4>. The parts are held together by nuts and rods F. Two sides are provided with an aperture having a cover H, Fig. 4, secured to a stirrup L by a bolt J and nut K.
