Abstract

1,104,075. Steam and gas turbine plant. INSTITUTE TEORETICHESKOI I PRIKLADNOI MEKHANIKI SIBIRSKOGO OTDELENIJA AKADEMII NAUK USSR. Jan. 26, 1965, No. 3321/65. Heading F1G. [Also in Division F4] A power plant has a combustion chamber 1 in which all the fuel is partially burnt with air from a compressor 9, the gases being cooled at 2, and cleaned at 3a, b and c before being fed through a heat exchanger 2a to a secondary combustion chamber 5 the gases from which operate a turbine 11. The exhaust gases from turbine 11 are reheated by combustion of cleaned gas in a chamber 12 to drive a turbine 13 which drives generator 15. Steam heated in the cooler 2 and in chamber 5 passes through turbine 10 driving air compressor 9 to mix with combustion products in chamber 5.
