Abstract

1,103,575. Suspended tents. FRANKENSTEIN GROUP Ltd. 25, May, 1965 [26, May, 1964], No. 22040/65. Heading B1A. In a collapsible tent having a canopy 10 tensioned by flexible cables 21 as disclosed for example in Specification 1049904, and wherein each cable is disposed within a fabric sleeve 12 formed in or secured to the canopy, the cable is laid in a fabric trough 17, 18 whose edges are secured at opposite sides of the sleeve 12 and which has one or more layers 15, 16 of heavy webbing in contact with the cable; the ends of the webbing protruding beyond the sleeve and being anchored to the cable or other means.
