Abstract

1,005,316. Tents. JOHN EDGINGTON & CO. Ltd. Aug. 1, 1963 [Aug. 3, 1962], No. 30043/62. Heading E1A. A tent framework consists of tubular members such as 6, 16, 26, interconnected in spigot-andsocket fashion by connectors 2, 3, 4 shaped as shown and suitably reinforced as necessary, see also Figs. 4, 5 and 6 (not shown). A canvas cover is detachably secured to the framework by elastic cords each having a hook to engage a D-piece attached to the canvas and a spring clip to engage the framework, see Fig. 3 (not shown). The connectors may be formed with annular ribs for locking engagement with a spring actuated latch carried by the tubular members.
