In a multi-storey building composed of prefabricated "room-units" a lower unit is provided on its upper face with rectilinearly extending upstanding projecting means constructed and arranged to lie alongside a correspondingly disposed part of a superimposed "room-unit" so as to prevent relative movement therebetween in at least one horizontal direction.
