1494617 Prefabricated buildings PORTAKABIN Ltd 13 Dec 1974 [13 Sept 1973] 43021/73 Heading E1A In a prefabricated building constructed from room units 10, 20 arranged in superimposed relationship the floor 14 of the upper unit 10 is provided in its floor with an opening surrounded by a downwardly-directed extension 18 and the lower unit 20 is provided in its roof with a corresponding opening surrounded by an extension 28; the extensions 18, 28 being telescopically aligned to receive a prefabricated staircase 30 which during transport of the units is carried in the lower unit 20.
