1,100,939. Incubators. O. H. DRAGER, [trading as DRAGERWERK, HEINR. & BERNH. DRAGER], 17 Oct., 1966 [15 Oct., 1965], No. 46407/66. Heading A5R. [Also in Division E2] Flap 2 covering aperture 1a in wall 1 of a medical apparatus housing, e.g. an incubator is operated by application of pressure on projection 11 which releases latch hook 9 and allows the flap to fall downwards owing to its own weight. The flap is connected by arm 3 to vertical pivot pin 4 of a bearing which has a horizontal pivot pin 5 mounted in a bush 6 fixed to the wall. The flap may be pivoted about pin 4 and may be lifted slightly away from the wall when swinging downwards by means of roller 13 running on the wall, the roller being received within groove 14 when the flap is in its closed position. The flap may also be kept away from the wall by means of slider 15 on arm 3 cooperating with cam face 16.
