Abstract

1,100,372. Aerating water. ROKAL G.m.b.H. 19 March, 1965 [17 Aug. 1965], No. 11898/65. Heading B1C. An aerator for attachment to a faucet comprises a perforated partition 2 and screens 8, 9 linked by a sleeve 5 to form a unit which is suspended from a flange 6, leaving an annular air inlet space between the sleeve and the casing. If, as shown, the casing is internally screwed for attachment to the faucet, the unit may be suspended from an internal shoulder 7; if externally (see Fig. 2, not shown), from the top of the casing. The upper screen may be dished and is preferably finer than the lower.
