962,559. Aerating liquids. KARRER, WEBER & CIE ARMATURENFABRIK UND METALLGIESSEREI A.G. Oct. 18, 1960 [Oct. 21, 1959], No. 35710/60. Heading B1C. In an aerator for attachment to a water tap the water passes through a perforated sheet metal screen 11 and a nozzle plate 21 into a mixing chamber 20 where it is aerated by air induced through the annular chamber between the body 2 and the sleeve 5, perforations 18 in the latter and perforations 19 in a cylindrical extension 9 of the nozzle plate. The aerated water is discharged through screens 10 suitably of bronze wire mesh.
