Abstract

109,776. Goldstone, M. H. July 18, 1917. Addition to 2036/15. Battery lamps.-Electric connexion between a casing and a dry battery, which is pushed inwards to close the circuit at the lamp-base, is ensured by a cap i fitting over the rear end of the battery, and having a slotted or fluted projecting rim to slide in contact with the casing. This cap replaces the spring described in the parent Specification, and may bear directions which were formerly printed on a cardboard disk. A screw or other ring j retains the cap i, and another screw &c. ring f holds the lens and reflector, against the pressure of the spring h tending to separate the battery and lamp.
