Abstract

1,096,537. Shelving. AMERICAN ALUMINIUM CO. March 17, 1965 [Feb. 19, 1965], No. 11275/65. Heading A4B. A shelving assembly includes a support member 10 having a row of spaced circular apertures 16 each formed with a radial notch 17, and a bracket 11 selectively located in an aperture 16 by means of a pair of flanges 22 carried by the rear wall 21 of the bracket 11, the arrangement being such that the flanges 22 are first passed through the aperture 16 with one end portion passing through the notch 17 and the bracket 11 is then rotated to its service position. In the service position, fingers 24 of the flanges engage a lug 18 pressed inwardly from the base of the notch 17. The rows of apertures may be horizontal, vertical or inclined and the notches 17 preferably extend at 45 degress to the line of apertures.
