Abstract

1,157,465. Shelf brackets. I. W. SHELL. 8 Aug., 1966 [9 Aug., 1965], No. 35482/66. Heading A4B. A shelf bracket (2) has a pair of vertically spaced, rearward extensions 6a, 6b each formed with a pair of downwardly open notches 26, 22 and 34, 30, the rear notches 22, 30 of the pairs being parallel sided and oppositely inclined. The extensions 6a, 6b have a hook engagement with a pair of slots 8a, 8b in an upright 10. The inclination of the shelf supporting limb (2a) of the bracket (2) is varied by selective use of one notch from each of the upper and lower pairs 26, 22 and 34, 30 to hook over the lower edges of the respective slots 8a, 8b.
