Bei einem bekannten Traggestell der eingangs erwähnten Gattung sind beispielsweise zwei an einer horizontal befestigten Leiste wegnehmbar gehängte Trägerschienen senkrecht und parallel zueinander angeordnet. Diese Trägerschienen weisen über ihre Höhe gleichmässig verteilte Nuten auf, in welche Tragelemente an beliebiger Stelle steckbar sind. Auf diese Tragelemente sind dann Tablare für ein Bücherregal oder ähnlichem gelegt oder befestigt. Sie können auch derart ausgebildet sein, dass an sie beispielsweise ein Korpus befestigbar ist. Die genannten Nuten verlaufen dabei parallel zur Schienenlängserstreckung und sie sind jeweils in ihrem obersten Bereich etwas erweitert, damit ein im Tragelement befestigter, mit einer Abstufung versehener Bolzen eingesteckt und folglich in der Nut bis zu deren unterem Ende verschoben werden kann. Das Tragelement ist sodann befestigt, weil der Durchmesserversatz am Bolzenende bewirkt, dass der Bolzen die Schiene bei deren Nut hintergreift und er zusammen mit dem Tragelement fixiert ist. Für ein Tragelement sind zwei oder mehrere solcher Bolzen vorgesehen, die je in eine Nut der Schiene steckbar sind. Nachteilig hierbei ist, dass die Nuten in den Trägerschienen bei deren Herstellung einzeln ausgefräst werden müssen, was relativ aufwendig ist, denn einer Schiene können bis zu hundert solcher Nuten zugeordnet sein. Das Tragelement 24 umfasst in dem gezeigten Beispiel drei an dem Steckteil 24' vorstehende Bolzen 24'', die jeweils am unteren Ende einer als Haltemittel vorgesehenen Aussparung 32 aufliegen. Der Steckteil 24' indessen liegt formschlüssig in der von der Profilschiene 33 gebildeten Ausnehmung 23' an und das Tragelement 24 ist damit insgesamt spielfrei in dem Träger 22 fixiert. Mit dieser Halterung wird durch das Eigengewicht des Tragelementes 24 und des darauf gelegten Tablars 28 eine selbstklemmende, verkeilende Wirkung erzielt, welche durch die schräge Auflagefläche der Längsnut 23 herrührt, wobei sie annähernd in einem Winkel von 45° zur Vertikalen schräg nach unten gegen die Ausnehmung 23' hin verläuft. Bei dem Steckteil des Tragelementes würde im Prinzip ein Bolzen genügen, es könnten aber auch zwei, drei (wie gezeigt) oder noch mehr Bolzen vorgesehen sein, die zueinander in gleichem Abstand wie die Aussparungen im Träger angeordnet sein müssen und daher ermöglichen, dass sie gleichsam jeweils in eine Aussparung steckbar sind.
