Abstract
The invention relates to monomethyl ammonium salt of a -(2,4-dichlorophenoxy)-propionic acid. The compound may be prepared by reacting gaseous monomethyl amine or a solution thereof with a suspension or solution of 2,4-dichlorophenoxypropionic acid.ALSO:Herbicidal compositions comprise as active ingredients: monomethyl ammonium salt of a -(2,4-dichlorophenoxy)-propionic acid in admixture with a diluent or extender, the composition being in solid or liquid form. Many customary diluents &c. are specified.
