1314615 Ester PROCIDA 13 Aug 1970 [13 Aug 1969] 39137/70 Addition to 1187058 Heading C2C The invention comprises ethyl 2-chloro-3-oxo- 4-bromobutanoate. The compound is prepared by reacting ethyl 3-oxo-4-bromobutanoate with a chlorinating agent. The compound is used in biocidal compositions.
