Abstract

A crate carrying frame 1 attachable to the lifting mechanism 4 of a fork lift truck 5 comprises a lower hook or rows of hooks 6 for supporting the lowermost crate of a stack, and a further hook or rows thereof 7, 8 spaced vertically above the hooks 6 for supporting other crates of the stack. Each of the upper rows of hooks 7, 8 are vertically adjustable on the frame 1 by means of cam plates transversely movable on rollers on the frame and having detents therein to receive rollers on the hooks.
