Liquid fuel dispensing apparatus comprises two pumps 27, 28 supplying different quality fuels to both of two dispensing valves 35, 36 which can separately or. together dispense the same or different quality fuels each dispensing; valve being connected through a double hose to two; flowmeters 21, 23 and 22, 24 respectively each of which drives price calculating means 25, 26 and has an associated flow control valve 31, 33 and 32, 34 controlled by means 29, 30 associated respectively with each dispensing valve to select the quality of fuel. As shown, the apparatus dispenses two basic and a number of different mixtures of the basic fuels and has the two flowmeters e.g. 21, 23 connected to drivea double calculator 25, the control means 29 acting on regulating valves 31, 33 connected to the calculator 25 to maintain the mixture ratio via control switches comprising as manysingle pole switches as there are qualities or mixtures of fuel, the separating out circuits to the two pump motors being effected by electric valves, rectifiers or diodes. Zeroising means may be operated by a switch independently of the control means before dispensing. In an alternative embodiment, each flowmeter is connected to its own calculator and the valves are shut-off valves selectively operable by the control means which selects either or both pumps for either or both fuels, both calculators for a, dispensing valve first being zeroised.
