Abstract

108,827. Berry, H. H. April 11, 1917, Imitation fires.-An imitation fire of the kind described in Specification 108,097 comprises blocks 2 of coloured glass and pieces 2 of coal, coke, or other opaque material upon a guard or frame 1, within which are two electric, gas, &c. lamps 4. Fans 5 carrying depending strips 6 are rotated in opposite directions by the heat of the lamps, pro ducing a flickering effect vhich is increased by mirrors 7. An electric heater 8 is hung on the bars of the fire-place. A modification is cunstructed in the form of a brazier fitted with an electric heater.
