Abstract

A flooring tile comprises hardboard of like material e.g papi<\>er mach<\>e having a layer of bitumen on the underside and a surfacing layer of an epoxy resin or a polyurethane on the upper side. The bitumen layer may be adhered to the floor by a flooring adhesive e.g. an epoxy resin. The surfacing layer may be pigmented or patterned.
