Abstract

1,081,927. Sales packages. H. PRYM, A. PRYM and D. PRYM. Nov. 16, 1964 [Nov. 19, 1963; July 2, 1964], No. 46557/64. Heading B8C. To gain access to the contents of a bubble 16 (Fig. 6) a flap 21 is lifted by tearing along lines of weakness. After the flap 21 has been replaced, the top portion 12 of the baseboard can be folded over and the top edge tucked under a flap 23. The bubble 16 is attached by a flange 17 (Fig. 2, not shown) to the external surface of the baseboard and the portion 12 of the baseboard may contain means for hanging up this package. The flap 21 may be divided into two or more parts which may be independently torn from the baseboard. A carrier (see Fig. 8, not shown) may be attached to the flap 21 in order to display the articles e.g. if the contents of the bubble are needles. The flap 23 may be replaced by arcuate slits into which the portion 12 of the baseboard is tucked, or alternatively the top edge of the portion 12 of the baseboard may contain two slits so that the central portion of the top edge may be tucked under a fixed portion 23 of the baseboard.
