Abstract

969,209. Packages. SCHOLL MFG. CO. Ltd. Nov. 21, 1960 [May 12, 1960], No. 40000/60. Heading B8C. Items such as surgical pads 8 are packaged by placing them on a base 1 and heat sealing a transparent cover 6 to it, the base having a hinged flap 2 defined by tear lines through which the pads may be withdrawn. The pads may be mounted on a strip 12 which is cut to separate them. The flap may be arranged centrally of the base (Figs. 5-7, not shown), and each pad mounted on an individual sheet. A suspension aperture 13 may be provided.
