[Also in Division B8] A portion of a tearable sheet of plastics material covering a sterile port 12 (Fig. 3) in a plastics bag 10 is removeable by a tab 18. In the form shown the Tab 18 comprises a thicker sheet of plastics material secured at 17 by heat sealing, di-electric sealing, ultrasonic sealing or glueing to the first sheet 14. Preferably polyvinylchloride resin is used for both the bag and the sheets. The bag may be suspended by a hole in its top closure. More than one port may be included and the bag may contain a parenteral solution administration set.
