Abstract

1,079,763. Homogenizing heaps of material. SOCIETE DES MINES DE FER DE LA MOURIERE. Aug. 4, 1964 [Aug. 9, 1963], No. 31004/64. Addition to 984,934. Heading B8E. [Also in Division B1] In a patent of addition to Specification 84,934, the material is fed by belt 218 to vibrating distributer 220 which feeds belt 221. The latter moves bodily and longitudinally on beam 222, which beam oscillates to and fro around pintle 223 to deliver the material through spout 230 into compartment 211. The material therein is raked by a harrow (not shown) and discharged from the bottom of the side of the heap by screw conveyer 235, following the heap by turning bodily about centre O so that the material, now homogenized, falls to be delivered by rotating blades 239 on to discharge conveyer 241.
