Abstract

1,078,974. Tamperproof boxes. H. J. PERRYMAN. Jan. 18, 1965 [Feb. 10, 1964], No. 5456/64. Heading B8P. A lid 3 of a box is permanently secured to the box by means of a channel-shaped element 7 on the lid which fits over a channel-shaped element 10 fixed on the corresponding top edge of a wall of the box. A flange 8 on the element 7 has an inward projection 9 which engages with a flange 11 on the element 10. The element 7 may have a projection 9 on each side of it which engages with a pair of flanges on the element 10. The elements preferably extend around the periphery of the box and lid. The element 7 may be fixed to the box with the element 10 fixed to the lid. The bottom of the box may be secured in a like manner.
