Abstract

A composition comprises natural rubber, cis-1,4-polybutadiene, precipitated silica, sulphur, carbon black, plasticizer, zinc oxide, stearic acid, N-phenyl-N1-isopropyl-p-phenylene diamine, phenyl-a -naphthylamine, mercaptobenzthiazole, benzthiazyl disulphide, tetramethyl thiuram disulphide, p,p1-dibenzoyl quinone dioxime, mercaptobenzimidazole, and tackifier. In addition, diphenyl guanidine and promoters such as N,4-dinitroso-N-methyl-aniline may be present.
