Abstract

1,076,943. Dolls. IDEAL TOY CORPORATION. Feb. 7, 1966, [Oct. 11, 1965], No. 5198/66. Heading A6S. A walking doll has a mechanism for moving the legs and a weight shifting mechanism for moving the centre of gravity in co-ordination with the leg movements. An electric motor 50 drives a geared down cam wheel 52 having a groove 52b to produce alternate movement of the legs about a pivot 70, and an eccentric 52a which tilts the axis 70 so that the legs are alternately lifted from the ground by shifting the centre of gravity (Fig. 6).
