Abstract

1,076,491. Fences. PROVE BROS. Ltd. and F. E. PROVE. Feb. 12, 1964 [March 8, 1963], No. 9401/63. Heading E1B. A steel wire fence comprises arcuate parts 11 with legs 16, 17 welded to two or more horizontal supports 12, 13, the fence being formed in sections with end supports 29 to be embedded in the ground. As shown, the sections may be connected together by hooks 33, 34 engaging eyes 35, 36 and the wires may be covered with a plastics material. In embodiments, the eyes are formed between the support 29 and the end leg 17 as loops in the horizontal supports 12, 13 (see Figure 1, not shown) and the hooks 33, 34 may be of unequal length to facilitate engagement. The sections may be curved and the parts 11 of different radii.
