Abstract

1,076,040. Moulded bottle crates. VEREINIGTE DEUTSCHE METALLWERKE A.G. Dec. 17, 1964 [Dec. 20, 1963], No. 51419/64. Heading B8P. An injection moulded plastics bottle crate has an internal cellular partition 2 providing six octagonal cells 3 and rectangular intercellular spaces 4. The obtuse nature of the angles at the corners of the cells enables the crate to be easily cleaned. Triangular portions (6), Fig. 1 (not shown), are cut out of the walls defining the rectangular spaces 4 to reduce the weight of the crate. A rim on the base assists stacking of the crates.
