Abstract

1,075,786. Lined cartons. WEYERHAEUSERCO. July 17, 1964, No. 29343/64. Heading B8P. The ends (11), (12) and sides (13), (14), (Fig. 1) of a container with lid formed from a single blank of cardboard or other material coated with a thermoplastic material are joined by gussets whose fold lines (33) for the pleats emanate from the corners (16), (17), (27), (28), the flanges of the gussets which provide the outer pleat sections (31) overlapping the flanges which provide the inner pleat sections (32) and being adhesively bonded together and adhesively secured to the wing panels. The blank may be formed of a sheet having thermoplastic properties.
