A collapsible carton made from a single blank of cardboard comprises a base 1, outer side wall panels 2 and inner side wall panels 3, each panel 3 having an extension 4, both panel and extension being cut and creased to form apertures 5, posts 6 and tongues 7. End closures extending from the panel 1 comprise an end forming panel 8, flaps 9 and a fly 10. To erect the box, the outer panels 2 are brought into an upright position, the panels 4 lying on the base of the box either overlapping or abutting each other and the tongues 7 extend into the apertures 5. The flaps 9 are then placed between the walls 2 and 3, the container being provided with a lid, sleeve or overwrapping to complete the closure. In a second embodiment the apertures 5 are dispensed with and holes 12 are provided in the extensions 4 to engage the contents. The outer walls 2 may be inclined inwardly or outwardly and the inner walls 3 may be vertical or may incline inwardly. 1,075,432. Endless conveyers. PROCTOR & SCHWARTZ Inc. [Also in Divisions B1 and F4] Material is conveyed through the treating chamber of a fluidized bed reactor in boxes 13.2 carried on an endless, perforated conveyer belt 10.2 so as to allow a conditioned gas stream to pass upwardly in a series of spaced parallel streams from ducts 15.2 and at least a portion of each stream to be abruptly returned to pass downwardly through the material to ducts 20.2. A screen belt 32 driven about pulleys 33 travels above the boxes to hold the material therein. The boxes may have some or all of their peripheral sides sloping outwardly to expand the upwardly flowing gas streams to drop the material out of suspension. Stationary baffles, Fig. 4 (not shown), mounted above the conveyer belt may replace the boxes.
