Abstract

1,073,416. Crash barriers. HOLLAND PROCESSING. Aug. 17, 1964 [Aug. 19, 1963], No. 33472/64. Heading E1G. A crash barrier comprises a resilient deformable wall 3 backed by a mass 4 of damping material. Preferably the barrier is a reinforced plastic trough having glass-fibre cables 2 embedded in the rims, the trough being filled with sand. The trough may be arranged to move on the ground when struck by a vehicle.
