A protector adapted to be fitted over an edge of a motor vehicle door comprises a resilient buffer for absorbing impact shocks and a reflector to indicate the position of the edge of the door to other traffic. In a preferred embodiment a body 5 of rubber or synthetic plastics material has a reflector 7 held against its end face by an inturned lip 6. An attachment clamp 1 embedded in the body carries a set screw 3 to engage the door.
