1,068,756. Stapling and nailing machines. SIGNODE CORPORATION. Aug. 4, 1965 [Aug. 24, 1964], No. 49737/66. Divided out of 1,068,755. Heading B4C. A magazine assembly for a fastener driving tool, such as for nailing or stapling, comprises a guide 72 having a magnet 74 for retaining a row of staples 71 thereon and a spring-loaded follower 76 for biasing the fasteners into position to be driven. In a modification, the magnet 74 may be located within the guide and the staples are arranged to straddle the guide. In a further modification, the heads (92, Fig. 7) of a row of nails 93 are arranged to be located by the top of a guide bar 90 in which the magnet 74 is fitted.
