Abstract
1,065,256. Soil stabilization. PITTSBURGH PLATE GLASS CO. July 15, 1965 [July 16, 1964], No. 29981/65. Addition to 959,158. Heading E1F. A method of freezing a subterranean waterbearing formation comprises establishing a plurality of separate cavities circumscribing the region to be frozen, each cavity separately openly communicating with an introduction hole extending through the formation through which hole a liquid at a temperature below 0C. is fed to the cavity and with a further such hole through which liquid is withdrawn from the cavity.
