A girder for reinforcing concrete having nb bottom chord comprises a top chord 1 to which is welded diagonal web members L1, L2, R1, R2 having their lower ends bent inwardly. The inwardly bent ends support a concrete reinforcing mesh. The web may be continuous zigzag rods or pairs of V-shaped rods one of each pair on each side of the chord 1. The diagonal web members are connected by transverse rods 3.
