Abstract
1,062.701. Filters. ALCYL AGENCIES (PROPRIETARY) Ltd. Jan. 4, 1966 [Jan. 19, 1965], No. 381/66. Heading BID. A liquid/liquid separator for connection into a liquid supply line incorporates an electrical signalling device to indicate when the separated liquid has reached a certain level comprising a float 60 which floats on the separated liquid and contains a metal ring 64 which completes the electrical signalling circuit when the ring contacts conductors 38. A clearance space is defined between the float 60 and shank 18 to permit tilting to ensure good electrical contact. Coalescing unit 50 consists of a copper gauge 52 defining a chamber between walls 54 and 16, which chamber is divided into two compartments by a partition (58) which communicate with inlet 26 and outlet 28 respectively.
