Abstract

1,062,075. Switchgear structures. LICENTIA PATENT - VERWALTUNGS - G.m.b.H. June 5, 1964 [June 7. 1963], No. 23378/64. Heading H2B. A cubicle, for a multiple circuit breaker which is withdrawable through an opening in one end wall of the cubicle, is provided with a plurality of isolator contacts 5 arranged along a side wall of the cubicle and connected by bar-shaped conductors 4, 4<SP>1</SP>, 4<SP>11</SP> to a plurality of cables 7 arranged adjacent to the other end wall of the cubicle. The bar conductors 4 are encased in a body of insulating material 3 which is attached to the side wall of the cubicle and is extended to form sleeves which insulated the ends of cables 7. The body 3 is ribbed (Figs. 2, 3, not shown) to increase creepage paths. The ends of cables 7 are formed with sockets (9) (Fig. 4, not shown) into which plug projections (10) of the bar conductors 4 where they are secured by screws (11). Screws (11) are reached through holes in the body 3 which are normally closed by plugs (13, 14). The cables 7 are fitted with leakage barriers 8. A plurality of cubicles may be assembled together (Figs. 5, 6, not shown).
