Abstract

1,060,680. Cartons. BOXFOLDIA Ltd. Dec. 8, 1965 [Dec. 11, 1964], No. 50453/64. Heading B8P. A carton lid folded from a blank comprises double walls 20, 22 and 14, 15 and a domed top panel 10. The outer wall panels 14, 20 are connected by wings 20a and triangular gussets 20b. The panels 20, 22 are glued together and when the walls are folded at right-angles to the top panel, the gusset folds are enclosed by the panels 14, 15. Locking recesses (17a), Fig. 1 (not shown), at each end of the panels 15 engage edges (22b) of the panels 22 to maintain the lid in its folded condition. Both pairs of opposite edges of the top panel may be curved and the top panel may be hexagonal.
