Abstract

1,059,711. Film processing apparatus. GENERAL ANILINE & FILM CORPORATION. Jan. 20, 1965 [Jan 20, 1964], No. 2456/65. Heading G2A Cassette 22 is supported on platform 22' and engages bar 23 releasing mechanism whereby film sheet 50 is drawn from the cassette by rollers 14 and 15 through rollers 5 and 6, through heated alkaline developer bath 20 via guide means 17, over roller 8, where it is enveloped, and has excess liquid squeegeed off, by belt 25 on rollers 7 and 9, into heated fixing bath 21 via guide means 17', and is ejected by rollers 10, 11 which squeegee off excess liquid. The guide means in the bath Fig. 4 (not shown) comprise parallel spaced curved rods (17), (118) arranged in the direction of travel of the sheet, and rods (117) perpendicular thereto having inturned ends for engaging the edge of the film.
