Abstract

1,059,267. Reversible windows. BULL'S METAL & MARINE, Ltd. May 20, 1965 [July 7, 1964], No. 27988/64. Heading E1J. In a reversible window in which the horizontal pivots 16 of the sash 10 are concealed and extend between uninterrupted vertical bars 1, 9 at least one viz 1, of the bars being provided with resilient sealing strips 8 coacting with a continuous flat surface 9 of the opposing bar, the strips 8 are carried by an elongated member 6 extending parallel to the bar 1 and is adjustable by means of screw and bolt (12) (not shown) towards or away from the bar 9. The horizontal sash bars are also provided with double weather seals against the horizontal frame bars. A stop in the form of an adjustable latch or turnbuckle is concealed in the hollow frame bar 10.
