A strip for dividing flooring surfaces or for ber of steel, synthetic resin or other cheap mateedging wells therein comprises a primary memrial topped with a rust-proof or ornamental metal, only the secondary metal being visible when installed. The primary member may be flanged, tapered or serrated for bond grip and be formed with slots for the reception of the secondary member which may be welded or rivetted thereto. The strip may be used for edging a mat well.
