Ferromagnetic ferrite materials of the class specified in the parent Specification and manufactured by the method described therein have the formula after sintering with 48#x#52; y+z=100-x; 8À5#z#11À5; where L represents both Mn<SP>++</SP>O and Mg<SP>++</SP>O, R represents at least two of the metals Fe+ <SP>+</SP> <SP>+</SP> <SP>+</SP> Mn<SP>+</SP> <SP>+</SP> <SP>+</SP>, Cr<SP>+++</SP>, Al<SP>+++</SP> + and Ga<SP>+++</SP> and is at least threequarters Fe <SP>+++</SP>,and Mn<SP>++</SP><SP>+</SP> is always present. The materials are used in microwave devices and show improved properties including temperature stability.
