105,293. Salmon, C. July 3, 1916. Limbs, artificial.-An artificial foot comprises a flexible sole part a provided with a sock portion a<2> engaging the leg portion b. A wooden instep part c is pivoted to a bolt f<1> carried in the leg, and an india-rubber cushion d is interposed between the instep and the leg. The hinge-joint consists of a rectangular tongue c<1> which passes through a similarly-shaped slot f in the bolt, and a hingepin m. A dowel-pin h prevents relative lateral movement of the instep.
