Heels.-A resilient boot heel, of the type in which a hollow resilient pad is inserted in a cavity partly formed in the outer sole and partly in the heel of the boot, is improved by the formation of a flange 6 on the pad, bevelled to make joint with a bevelled upper portion 5 of the cavity 1. Flutings 12 are also formed in the side of the pad to increase its flexibility.
