Abstract

275,902. Kaletta, A. April 26, 1927. Limbs, artificial.-An artificial foot comprises a solid rubber portion 3 constituting the foot proper and a separate shallow hollow sole 5 in the form of a pneumatic cushion secured to the sole of the portion 3, the shaft 1 of the leg being embedded in the foot portion. The walls 8 of the air cushion are reinforced by soft rubber, the middle parts 6, 7 being made thinner.
