Limbs, artificial. - In order that the length of an artificial leg may be adjusted and the foot member be secured in correct argular position, the knee and ankle joints are formed of tubular T- pieces g, h mounted on detachable tubular pivots n. q and connected together by a tubular piece f in which the T-pieces can move telescopically and rotatably. When the tubular pieces have been adjusted, the piece f is secured by clamps i, j to the upper and lower portions a, d of the leg, and the fibre, leather, or like covering t is applied.
