In a lattice girder which may be used for the reinforcement of concrete the chord bar 5 is formed with recesses 11 into which the metal of the web bars 1, 2 is forced when the ends of the web bars are bent round the chord bar, the recesses having edges which are transverse to the bar, relative movement of the parts thus being prevented. The web bars 1, 2 are welded to the chord 3. The web bars may be of flat strip.
