Abstract

1,012,465. Lattice girders. RHEINBAU G.m.b.H. Feb. 20, 1964 [May 7, 1963], No. 7155/64. Headings E1K and E1V. A lattice girder comprises a steel lattice cast into a concrete lower boom, the lattice being formed from longitudinal rods 1-3 held spaced apart by a symmetric transverse rods 4 arranged alternately in opposite directions and welded to the rods 1-3. The lattice may be supported in position in the concrete boom by clips 8 with bent-down ends 9, which also support extra reinforcement 11, or it may be supported by bending down the short ends of rods 4.
