1,048,642. Securing handles to shafts. HAFA HANDELS - & FABRIKSBOLAG. June 10, 1963 [June 8, 1962], No. 23039/63. Heading F2U. A wooden or plastics door handle 1 and die-cast spindle post 2 are drivingly connected together by a peg 8 engaging a notch 10, the peg 8 being formed on the post 2 together with a spigot 7 on which the notched handle 1 is retained by a self-tapping or other screw 12. The post 2 is secured by a pin (not shown) to the usual square spindle 3 of a mating handle (not shown).
